As you probably already guessed; I am Nelleke van Lomwel and four years ago I chose to study advertising. Not because I had the ambition to make the next best Nike campaign, but simply because I just didn't understand the field. I couldn't get my head around how all these lies and deceiving images were making our world a darker place. I hated it. Fascinated by it's force and the people that mastered it, i wanted to grasp it all. I started to question how I could use the power of advertising differently. After all, it is just a medium to get a message across. So, what if i simply were to change that message? What if I could turn it around and use the power of advertising for the good? The world of advertising has become my playground. By giving a voice to the people that want to challenge the norm, strive for honesty and make perspectives shift. I like to tackle heavy problems with a passionate opinion and a child-like mindset. To develop playful, human solutions and get a conversation started.
